Palin visits Clearwater

Just got back from the Sarah Palin event at Coachman Park. Lots of guest speakers to warm up the crowd; Jim Greer , Bill Young (who's wife was kicked out of the floor of Congress for wearing a "support the troops" shirt, gotta give her a thumbs up for that! What up with the first ammendment?), Charlie Christ ( tan as ever, but right on message), Gus Billirakis (didn't come up short ... awwwww, that was bad... I kid because I love, Gus. Your signs are always welcome in my yard, buddy, I'm a stubby little thing also!). But the big surprise of the day was the introduction of Mrs. Palin by "Lieb the Heeb" "Hizzoner of chutzpah" "The independent Israelite"... none other than Joe Lieberman! Wasn't expecting that! He stood side by side with the future VP for the duration, quite an endorsement in my book. Yeah, he's got a few isuues we can disagree on, but that man understands national security.
It was mostly a "rah rah" type of event, but nonetheless, very cool to be a part of, and "doggonnit" I think that she's a lot more capable of securing our nation than B.O. and his little buddy! You go, girl!
